When The Brewery Isn’t Brewing

As luck (or un-luck if you will) would have it, when I visited the small home Slippery Pig Brewery last week for an assignment on local beer brewing there wasn’t any brewing taking place.

No big deal, I swear 80% of my job is making interesting photos of things that aren’t happening, so after an exasperated groan and eye roll (all inside of my head of course) I started to fret over what on earth I was going to shoot and got to work.

Luckily for me his brewery/farm was so visually interesting that I was able to make some nice shots as they showed us around even though the actual brewing wasn’t taking place…and really the act of brewing isn’t that interesting anyway so there was no reason to fret.

Plus the owner/brewer was wearing a utilikilt and I have to think that utilikilts should be a little more mainstream because A) they have all kinds of pockets, B) they are naturally air conditioned and C) they make photos more interesting.
