The One Where I Reiterate My Desktop Goals

So it was decided (sort of) in my last post that if a photo was haphazardly saved on my desktop that it had to be posted here.

But I feel like I should give a few reasons of why said photos might have ended up there in the first place.

Here are a few reasons (not listed in ANY particular order):

  • While editing on location (i.e my car, a coffee shop, a gymnasium, etc.) I feared my laptop dying since the battery meter is constantly lying to me- so I saved w/out clicking on the appropriate folder.
  • There were just too many wild arts of people walking around with umbrellas to shoot that I just didn’t have time for silly things like saving photos in the correct folder.
  • I saw a spider crawling through the office and had to save fast as I got the hell out of there.
  • For some reason I deemed the photo worthy of saving in folders of varying categories like: animals, scenic, kids picking noses, etc.
  • Garden Gnomes- you just can’t trust them.
  • I was contemplating sending it out as my “Weeklypic” but ultimately found it unworthy of such an honor.
  • I’ve developed a Pacific Northwest attitude of, ” Meh, the sun is out I’ll archive them correctly tomorrow when it’s raining.”

So here are a few more littering my PowerBook G4′s screen: Oh and just a side note on the dancing toddler photo below-the photo cracks me up because all I can think about is if they only had glow sticks and a few pacifiers they would look just like a bunch of teenagers at a rave.
